Leisure time in paradise Florida

Golf Wonderful, mild winters and breezy summers allow multiple activities during the whole year. All kinds of watersport are offered. Numerous, fantastic and public 18-holes golf courts invite the enthusiastic golfer to play at the “Lee Island Coast”. There are so many different challenges, that a thrilled golfer, playing 18 holes and doing this seven days a week, would have to play two full months without playing a repetitive hole! Cape Coral has three golf courses and the one next to Villa “Bel Air” is just minutes driving time away.

Here you can find a summary of some golf courts..

For friends of the white sport, diverse tennis courts are available all over the town. Most of them are reachable in minutes. Go fishing with your “own” boat or go for deep sea fishing with a professional skipper. They like to share their profound experience with their guests. You can do excursions with a small aircraft (if you have a licence, you just rent the craft and an instructor, for a beautiful trip along the Keys), observing everything from a bird`s eye view. Take one of the fast ferries and spend a
night on most famous “Key West”. Experience the wonderful sunset at the most southern point of the USA, visit the house of Ernest Hemingway and have a great Caribbean dinner at the “Duval Street”.

Rent a classic american dream and ride on a Harley Davidson into the sunset. Such a pleasure is not really expensive in the States and an unforgettable moment to remember.

Take your famliy (especially the kids) to Disney World Orlando. With two hours driving time, the Disney spectacle is ready to be explored. You should plan for one or more overnight stops, because there are a couple of parks, which are really huge and the waiting times for the rides are not really short. It is expensive, if you are staying pretty close to the world of Disney, but with a little bit of driving (20 to 30 minutes) you get comfortable and clean motels for low rates. Everything can be pre-planned by you from Villa “Bel Air”. Use the WLAN internet to find out what you want and use the telephone (all calls free in the US) to make your arrangements.

In any case you should plan a trip to “Everglades City”. Here you get a lot of information about the history of the “Everglades”, you can “feel” the Everglades by riding the swampland on different vehicles and can (if you want) experience the strange feeling of touching an alligator.

Straight on the other side of the Caloosahatchee River, which divides Ft. Myers and Cape Coral, is the Edison Ford Winter Estate located. Take a stroll up the subtropical, famous Edison Garden directly at the river, visit the old, original laboratory where the light bulb once has been invented or just enjoy the unique atmosphere of the old estate.

Do you love the feeling of being on an island? It is a really short and amusing ride, with boat or car, to the famous islands “Sanibel” or “Captiva”. The great and endless beaches are in a natural state and clean. Dolphines and Manatees are at home in these watercourses. When you come with the boat, you surely will have the opportunity to observe them – it is great fun.

You notice, these are just small hints for you … there is a lot more to experience here … we´re really sorry … but you have to come for a second time …
